PIXORA One or PIXORA Max — which fits you?

We've kept the choice deliberately simple. The PIXORA One is the entry point: 720p HD native resolution, 260 ANSI lumens, 180° projection, Android 11 and WiFi 6. Compact as a coffee tin. The PIXORA Max delivers native 1080p Full HD, 200 ANSI lumens, 30,000 hours LED lifespan, Bluetooth 5.4 and image diagonals up to 130 inches.

Which projector for what?

Small living room or bedroom

The PIXORA One is your pick if you can darken the room and mainly watch films and series in the evenings. A throw ratio of 0.80:1 delivers big images even without much wall distance. Low input lag makes gaming work great too.

Larger rooms or ambient light

The PIXORA Max is for you if the room can't be fully darkened, if you want larger images up to 130 inches, or if you prefer native 1080p Full HD instead of HD upscaling.

Outdoor cinema in summer

Both models are compact enough for garden and patio. Combined with a transport case, mobile tripod screen and Bluetooth speaker, you've got an open-air cinema up in 15 minutes.

What both PIXORA projectors have in common

  • Android 11: Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video pre-installed — no Fire Stick needed.
  • Throw ratio 0.80:1: big images even in small rooms.
  • LED light source: No lamp replacements, 20,000 or 30,000 hours lifespan.
  • Projection: Wall, screen or ceiling — flexible installation.

Practical Tip

For 100 to 130 inch image diagonals at 2.5 to 3.5 meters viewing distance, 1080p Full HD is visually more than enough. 4K brings no visible benefit at this distance — your eye won't pick up the pixel spacing. Details in the 4K vs. Full HD comparison.

What really matters when buying a projector

  • Resolution: 720p HD for smaller images up to 100 inches, 1080p Full HD native for 100 to 130 inches.
  • Brightness (ANSI lumens): 200 ANSI for dark rooms, 260 ANSI tolerates slight ambient light.
  • Throw ratio: The smaller, the closer to the wall — calculate with the throw ratio calculator.
  • Light source: LED instead of lamp — no replacement, 20,000+ hours lifespan.
  • Noise level: Below 35 dB is whisper-quiet.

Frequently asked questions about buying a projector

Is a wall enough or do I need a screen?

A smooth, matte white wall works fine to start. A proper projection screen noticeably improves contrast and sharpness — especially in ambient light. Check out the different types in our screen selection.

How big should the image diagonal be?

Rule of thumb: viewing distance = 1.5 to 2.5 × image diagonal. At 3 meters distance, 100 to 130 inches makes sense. Precise calculation with the throw ratio calculator.

Is the PIXORA One Full HD?

No. The PIXORA One is a 720p HD projector — perfectly adequate for image diagonals up to 100 inches. Native 1080p Full HD only comes with the PIXORA Max.

What's the delivery time and shipping cost?

Delivery 2 to 14 days depending on region in Europe. Free shipping from 149,99 €, below that a flat 4,99 € fee. Details in our shipping terms.
